I've heard alcohol has an effect on the opioid system at higher doses. Could alcohol extend opioid withdrawal due to this effect?

I'm not sure if it extends withdrawal... but you will sure regret drinking it.

Every single time I drank while in opioid withdrawal it was a remarkably awful experience. Memorably bad. Truly epic hangover.

About as bad as drinking while in benzo withdrawal, which goes without saying is stupid and painful.

I'm 2mths into methadone cessation of 90mgs without tapering. I took kratom from week 3 to 4 and a little over 2 weeks ago I took one 90mgs dose. I'm still definitely suffering opioid withdrawal but it's not too bad. The drinking in evenings has been helping at this point but I still got crawly skin, aching joints, severe insomnia and I still have several up to 5 sneezing fits a day.
