Opioids alcohol and opiates

how long after drinking 1 beer would someone with no alcohol tolerance have to wait to safely take 40mg er oxy? (high opiod tolerance and regular user)

You'll be fine. Some people like thew combo of alcohol and opiates, though certainly you want to keep the doses lower for each. 1 beer isn't gonna cause problems. Personally when I was on opiates I stopped drinking entirely because I don't like the combo, to me alcohol destroys all the lovely aspects of opiates and makes it feel dirty.
