Alcohol and Methadone

Ive been on methadone for over 3 years and ever since Ive been on it I have not.drank any alcohol i have no desire to drink and really cant stand the smell of hard.liquor. plus Ive heard that mixing alcohol with methadone could.potentially put.you into witbdrawals. I have a wedding.to attend in march and.was thinking.of.endulging.in a cocktail or two.but. im scared of the WD. Can anyone tell me more about alcohol with methadone, thanks

I'd say each unit of ingested alcohol will take won't1 hour off your"medicated" time. It wont put you stgraight into wd like naloxone
