Alcohol and codeine

I'm wondering if combining alcohol with codeine is unhealthy, because they're both metabolized by the liver? Just concerned about my liver, so that's why I'm asking!

Mixing any tablets which are processed by the liver with alcohol can cause problems. That being said, if you're not overdoing both of them you should be OK.

I've taken codeine with alcohol numerous times with no problems, however who knows what's actually going in internally

It depends if there is a pap; if so do a cold water extraction, and your fine. Otherwise apap metabolite in high doses combined with alcohol is a Black Flag my friend. Will destroy your liver.

However Codeine and alcohol alone is no problem, although Idk if it effects you the amount of Morphine or CG3 produced; I doubt it though
