Misc Alcohol after taking zolpidem, 10mg?

So I took 10mg of zolpidem like an hour ago and was feeling some of the effects but not as much as I'd like to so I'm drinking a bit of whiskey, prolly poured like 1.5 shots in a glass and I'm drinking it slowly... Even if I am drinking after will it still potentiate the ambien?
 
Yes, it still will potentiate the ambien, so don't overdo it, as it increases the risk of blacking out and increased respiratory depression. But 1-2 shots should be alright.
