Hi all, my first post here. I'm trying to read as much as I can before bombarding the forum with questions, but one thing is bugging me, where I couldn't find an answer yet:
I understand how SSRI/SNRI medication works, and that it blocks any MDMA effects (experienced it myself, I'm on Duloxetine). But at the same time, I don't understand: SSRI block the re-uptake, so in simple words the return path of the neurotransmitters. The way TO the synapsis is unobstructed and would allow the flood of Serotonin from MDMA. If anything, SSRI/SNRI should increase the effects of MDMA.
What am I missing?
