Stimulants Adderall vs Ritalin

What’s the main difference between the two drugs? Which is better for treating adhd? I know there both stimulants but never knew the differences between them.

I believe the main difference is adderall may be influencing dopamine via taar and at high doses vmat. I am unsure what if any amphetamine has affinity at the DAT.

Vs.

Ritalin may act at the dat

I believe the analogue is ritalin to coke via dat and meth to adderall via taar and vmat

Or possibly due to similarities in chemical structure

Well I have been prescribed both and I am not a doctor, scientists or an expert, I just read a lot.

Ritalin is comparable to cocaine in effects and duration.

Adderall is simply amphetamine (oh I do love amphetamine) so in comparison is more energetic and last more that ritalin.

For ADD both works, it depends on the people taking it. Some responded better to adderall or ritalin. Both are great to treat ADD.

I prefer Amphetamines over Ritalin just because amphetamine give me the energy I need and ritalin don't, it even get me sleepy.
