I have been taking Adderall for a month, 40mg a day some days I don't take it. Yesterday I didn't take it, today I took 50mg all at once, 12pm. It is now 6pm and I feel like I am gonna DIE. As I write this my vitals seem like they normally do BP 144/94 and HR 100 while I sit at the desk. Yes I have a little high blood pressure and I am working on changing diet. I don't smoke or do anything. I have had plenty of water, and just chugged a Pedialyte. I had 2 small meals today and about to eat right now. Sometimes I get this sharp pain in my heart. I just feel like I am gonna die. Is 50mg high enough to kill someone? I also had a Monster Hydro sport drink with 180mg caffeine this morning. How do you all do this? I just wanted to be productive.

You're going to be alright. You might be having some sort of panic attack. It can happen with amphetamines.

Just take a deep breath, maybe get some fresh air outside, drink a little water. It will pass.

Thanks man, and sorry if I'm clogging up the airways

40mg for 1 month isn't going to manifest any sort of physical dependence

Are you on anything else? Do you drink? My heart rate and BP were similar if not higher than that when I was a daily drinker and on adderall.

Caffeine gives me horrible anxiety sometimes, and drinking a monster will make me feel horrible for several hours.

No I don't take anything else. I haven't drank since last weekend. I appreciate the help. I feel I can calm down

Sorry, I forgot to say I was a heavy drinker until recently, I am trying to quit. I think that, unhealthy diet, and sedentary lifestyle contributed to my hypertension.

it sounds a lot like what would happen to me if I was on adderall and then quit drinking or was still drinking. I had stage 2 hypertension from alcohol use.

it really fucks with your anxiety and I would feel very physical anxiety symptoms and high blood pressure sucks

I highly suggest some aerobic exercise / jogging. Helps me A LOT. Feel great for several hours after jogging, less anxiety and relaxed, and overtime my BP is almost normal now. I quit drinking about a month ago and my health got very noticeably better very rapidly. Also eat healthy and jog 15 miles per week now. It REALLY does help me a lot, I've had anxiety my whole life, addict for 20 years, but specifically alcohol really fucked me up over the last 8 years. Fuck alcohol.

Take 400mgs of Magnesium Glycinate and it'll help smoothen the come down. Although it's better to take it at the same time as the Adderall rather than later. Taking 1-2 grams of Tyrosine 5-6 hours later can help to extend the effects a bit and further smoothen the overall come down.

When i was on dextro-amphetamine and drank.

There was no change in my blood-pressure what so ever. I have Hypo tension, low blood-pressure, 60 over 50. Drugs don't effect this ime.

Your blood pressure is actually 60/50 on adderall? Or even 60/50 not on adderall? What is your heart rate like out of curiosity?

Under 100 beats a minute. but that was on dextro-Amphetamine.

Since that prescription ended my pressure is no longer controlled. I get black out's all the time.

I don't mean to diminish or invalidate the OP's horrible experience in any way but I realy struggle to comprehend people with severe reactions either to prescribed doses of Rx stumulants or to stopping them after a couple of weeks or months. Sure I get that an initial reaction to a new stimulant can be jitteriness, some anxiety and/ or a general dense of discomfort. That's what happened to me when I was first prescribed Ritalin but it disappeared totall the next day after ceasing it and switching to dexamfetamine.

Through five years of taking dexamfetamine my blood pressure never tested above 120/80 with resting heart rate around 60-65 BP could be quite a bit lower if I was just lying on the sofa.

Even after jacking a couple of points of methamphetamine my BP rarely went past 145/95 with resting heart rate about 80 so long as I wasn't exerting myself.

I often wonder if it is something unique about my physiology or a function of extended use and tolerance.

Adderall gives me comedown. Energy drinks give me a comedown too. If I have a Rockstar, few hours later my face is red and I feel like I want to die. You had both of them so that explains why you felt so horrible.

Fret not child, your in the loving arms of Bluelight and @Keif' Richards. We're pretty much the only people in the world who will give you legit help with this sort of thing anyway. Isn't that fucked up. I should not be the voice of reason. This is a sign that our world is descending into utter chaos people.

Like peope have said, the "comedown" from Amphetamines is harsh. True story, the first time I experienced Adderall, I bought 7 20mg Adderall brand capsules. I was 14 and I had never experinced any stimulant aside from Caffeine. I took two and felt like the dogs balls so proceeded to take all 7 throughout the course of the night.

It was a hell of an evening. I wrote a paper that was required to pass my junior year of high school. I chose to write about the FLQ, an urban-guerilla communist group in French-Canada in the 60's and 70's. What I ended up with was a 25 page long rambling interperetation in which the phrase "including, but not limited to" was used no less than 100 times.

By the time 11:00am rolled around. I was ready to run up to my Mom's room and confess all of my sins. All of my drugs use. Masturbating. Looking at Porn. Stealing money from her purse. I was a wretched child and I had to be punished. Luckily, something stopped me from doing so, but I easily could have. It happens to the best of us. Ride it out. Be strong brohta.

Because everybody is different. Different genetics and anomalies in biological make up. Your resting BPM rate is 60-65 on Dex. Some people's resting BPM rate is 90-100 off stimulants and into tachycardia levels on them. Some people have nervous systems that are simply ultra sensitive to these substances. That's why some people can drink 5-6 cups of strong brew Coffee each day and still sleep like a lamb at night, while others are wide awake the whole night because of that 1 small cup of Coffee they had 12 hours ago.

You guys are amazing, I ended up taking up to like 80mg with no effect. I was out of town and did not see all these replies ❤. I stopped only because I ran out until next month so I'm boozing right now unfortunately. I have Ativan prescribed to me but that's another post. I was never into downers besides alcohol and don't understand how to take them in a recreational way.
