A Druid's Creed~

My parents are earth and heaven
Awareness is my home
Honesty is my Divine Power

I have been a flowing bed of kelp
I have been a hawk upon the wing

Many moons have I been
Wandering in gloom among sprites

My lives and deaths are the tides of breathing
Making Peace is my endeavor
Understanding is my means

I have been a gleam upon the Grail
I have been the pommel of a sword

No more shall poisen sully my soul
While lawless ones whisper-away the fire in my head
My eyes are the flash of lightning
Adaptability is my principle
Faith is my armor

I have been a stag in the rut
I have been a child's laughter

I have leapt naked into the void
With my circle uncast, still stinking of beer
My sword is the love of justice
Unselfishness is my magick secret
Emptiness and fullness are my tactics
I have been the Northern wind creating frost
I have been the eye of a storm

I have harried the gates of Annwn
Brandishing Darganfyddr yn yr Gwag
Silently singing

My music is the sound of crickets
Surrender is my path to victory
Wholeness and serenity are my objectives I am a noble, ancient soul
I am the ally of White Buffalo
I am awake

Heavy weighs my heart for those who rape our mother Gentle, blind followers of well-intentioned lies, Minstrels

I am.

These were my favourite lines for the contrasting but complimentary imagery...I really like the prayer-like nature of it (I don't think 'prayer' is necessarily the right word, maybe more like a contemplation of faith)
