[MEGA] Every Year's Community Growing advice, tips, tricks, & experiences

Im not sure of the nutes you guys get over there, so hopefully AE or someone else from that area can post in and recommend a decent nutrient. Go for a vegative nutrient which a NPK value, something like 5/2/3 for example. The high Nitrogen value is what your after. Remember though, dont stress over slight yellowing of lower leaves once they flower, it's normal. If you over do the Nitrogen during flower the buds will stretch and basically become like a retarted growth.
 
ME and my buddy are growing one girl and we are in no rush to harvest Since we are after max yield . We have been growing under 1 100 watt lamp and another 60watt halogen lamp for the bottom of plant . it has taken a long time but I am now seeking a stronger light , could anyone advise a certain light and/or the price I would be looking at . I live in Ontario if it makes a difference.

there some pic's of my baby she's goin aight she's stoped growing taller now so shouldent be much longer to flower as i got her in a place that dont get much sun......she looks shit but IDC its just for personal smoke for me.sorry about the lighting in the photo i'll be sure to take some more later this arvo when the light gets better....i've just found out i might be moving out round march april any pointers on making her flower faster or what i should do with her.i sprinkled some NPK round her the other day and waterd her with a "unknown" fertilzer......:)

Halogen's wont work for growing, and Im assuming your 100 watt lamp is a house hold bulb? You needd to be using either HPS/MH or fluro's to grow weed.

Look into buying HPS(high pressure sodiums) they work great :)

Hey JS, cant see your shots mate? :(

Your lady should be stretching still, as she comes into flower. You cant really do anything if your moving around march/april apart from letting her grow out then harvest her prematurely unfortunatly :\

What if i chuck a bin bag or a bucket over her at 3-5oclock every day will that force flower???

:) thanks man , and the 100 watt is from an iguana lamp gives off alot of heat :p I want a HPS OR MH but dunno where to go about buying them .

hey Damien, can you help, wat is a high % of npk in a food, i want to get some, as on my last try, my first, i had a nitrogen problem, so on this girl i want to be prepared, but im unsure wat % of npk i need to get, as they all have different ratios eh, so wat is a high and normal amount, and wat should i look for if the problem returns? Thanks
 
i was bored and had nothing else to do with an extra plant so i gave it a shot... its NOT the best way to grow and it takes fing for ever to start to flower and even longer to finish... all organic feed no additional chemicals... the buds were so popcorn like it made trimming a fkn bitch... i ended up sexing her with a grape god (i think this one is a maui gold)...

now, i originally started with 4 seeds in my room this there were 2 gurls and 2 boys, i kept the better girl and chucked the other one out door, it coped really well, now dramas, altho my problem is, the outdoor gurl haas turned hermi...
would this be due to the stress of changing light patterns/soil median. might sound like a stupidf question, but now im fearing in my head that my beautiful candice is gona turn a shemale. there are absolutely no signs of male preflowers at week 8 of veg.... add = lots of nice pistills here and there

Just noticed that two out of six random seeds I threw into some soil in my back room have began to sporut into lil mary jane babies I got two little buddies to take care of now.

Sorry dude(ette?) I wish I could help. I don't grow. I just lurk this thread, dreaming. Someday I may have an answer for you. ;)

A google search led me to these numbers.

20-10-10 for veg
10-20-20 for flower

You'll need to remember that once she starts to flower there has to be no light leaks at all, so you wont be able to leave your door open at certain time's. Do you know how warm you cupboard gets? If your girl is looking nice and healthy at the moment then you may not need to run it, but this could change come flower as plants enjoy and handle higher temps in veg, then they do in flower.

i tried with the fan off and doors closed and it was 95f plus,with the fan on and doors closed it was 80f, with fan off and doors open 85-90f, wat is the best temp for her? is a nute with a npk of 18-11-11 to high?
 
Will weed grow on its own if I just offer it purifed water and light?

this should hopefully be my 4th sucessful grow :)
in week 8 of vegging, hoping to get decent quality and yield ive been treating her like a princess=D
