I think the 3D bonds are backwards there, but you'll get the idea. The molecule is simply dextroethorphan (DXM with an N-CH2CH3 instead of a N-CH3) with an H instead of an aromatic phenyl methoxy functional group.

They are. The wedges should not be coming out of the plane but rather under it. Otherwise, instead of desmethoxy DXE you would probably end up with some much more potent and also stimulating classical opiate distantly related to levorphanol.
