Any idea how I can get tramadol SR to kick in quicker?! I’ve read crushing works-am I beat to chew, crush then put in water?? I’ve only ever used IR, slightly annoyed I’ve got the SR tbh 🙄
 
I'm going to check, I think my Tramadol pills are ir but even so, will they have a stronger effect if I chew them instead of just swallowing whole?
 
Ok, this time when the nurse brought my Tramadol pill I managed to chipmunk it and take it out of my mouth after she left. It's a white round pill with "AN 627" on it. So it's the 50 mg instant release. I don't think I'm gonna try chewing it since just holding it in my mouth for a few seconds to trick the nurse was extremely yucky.
 
It has better bioavailability, duration of effect and chemical half-life and propably Tram:O-DSMT ratio too i want to say more o-dsmt less tramadol. I recomend taking them whole, don't crush these. Max dose 300-400mg if u'r not full of benzos and other anticonvulsive agents. Dont combine with CYP2D6 inhibitors (wellbutrin, paroxetine etc..) it will not work and your brain will be so flooded of serotonine and God know what else that your epileptic treshold gonna be really low. I could take 1000-2000mg tramadol, than one day i did few mg of alprazolam and ONLY 187,5mg tram and i seized so bad two in a row and fucked up my shoulder.

Yeah be real careful with tramadol. My first seizure was a tramadol overdose.

I've had a bunch since then. Once you have one you're chances of having another one increases drastically.

How long were you on them and how much were you on ? On any other meds when you first had a seizure?

I wasn't prescribed them. I was just ordering them from India. I don't recall exactly how much I took when the seizure occurred but I'm sure it was under 500mg.

No other meds in my system at the time.

Sorry I don't remember more. This happened back in 2008 or 2009.

Since then I've had seizures from tramadol again from doses as low as 100mg. I've also had them from Wellbutrin, doxepin, too much caffeine+nicotine, synthetic cannibinoids, benzo withdrawals, probably something else I'm forgetting, too.

I hate seizures and fully believe that I would have never experienced one were it not for tramadol. IMHO it's nothing to play with and certainly nothing worth trying to get high on.

The worst seizure I ever had was a massive overdose on 3-MEO-PCP. I was already tripping on it and the thought entered my head that I could hole if I just took enough. So, I licked my finger stuck it into the gram bag, and then ate it. Bad idea.

I came to several hours later in the hospital and they told me I was seizing for over two hours.

Yeah, trams are good for a 2 week script if you sprain your ankle but that's about it at best. Certainly can't chase a high off them and like you said pushing the envelope just gets you an ER bed. Risk vs. reward just too high. I'd rather chase a codeine buzz and scratch my skin off then trying to get high on trams. They are weak pain relief and only good for mild issues for a short time.

Hear they work great for depression and anxiety though. Makes sense because of their SNRI effects.

Yeah codeine over tramadol every day of the week.

Kratom over tramadol, too. Kratom is by far a better opioid. Safer and better pain relief.

Wow that must suck Dude , I think I’d stop driving . I started messing with them a few yrs ago when I was squeaky clean I’d take 2-3 and go nod out in the sun 😎 but the nodding stopped but I continued taking them for about a year,400-500 mg a day then started tapering down then off them totally , now I’ll take them once a month with some kratom ,muscle relaxers ….

Great minds think alike. I also prefer kratom over trams but would prefer codeine over kratom ( for actual pain. )

But as an all around depression, anxiety, adehonia, and such symptoms....kratom it is over a script of anything.

Great relationship with kratom. It's much less consistent for me sadly.

After watching excerpts from the Lawyers that are participating in the 2 high profile cases we have going on at the moment in the US, I think both sides need to pop a few.
