100ug LSD - Can I behave normally?

I'm thinking about taking a tab of acid which is supposed to be 100ug and just wondering how out of touch of reality I'll be or appear to be to others. I've had a dose somewhere in the range of about 50ug before and I still could act and talk normal but found my imagination would start to twist reality slightly and unless I reminded myself this is from the drug it was easy to accept these distortions as reality. So just wondering how much more powerful and mind bending would a 100ug dose be? Is it easy to handle once the come up is over (50ug come up was very anxiety ridden but I felt in very much control once the effects started) or am I gonna end up suddenly feeling like this is waaay different and stronger than 50ug and can't control myself?

There are way too many variables involved for anyone to really know how you will react to that dose. The only advice I can give is make sure you're in a safe environment and that you have no responsibilities for the next 6-12 hours. Another thing that helps with taking psychedelics is to make sure you're mentally in a good space, if you're in a bad mood you're more likely to have a bad trip.

Any environment where you have to constantly worry about acting normal is not a great environment for psychedelics. Even if you manage to pull off the schrade it probably won't be a fun experience.

If you want to try this you should consider cutting your dose in half. What are you trying to do just curious?

Your answer is, not really. 100ug is a solid dose into at least a +2 to +3 experience, provided you have no tolerance. It's difficult to behave sober, unless you stay in your element and don't do anything weird behavior-wise on any chemical, or even look sober on a good dose of lsd. You can pull it off though, just keep to yourself and simultaneously navigate through the experience as best as you can, enjoy the ride, and try to be normal. Yes, it's a humorous experience too, meanwhile you're tripping on acid. Having visuals and cognitive distortions like crazy lol.

Back in the day, I would do this at night time so that I'm much less likely to be disturbed. If you're a night owl, this might work for you too.

I wouldn't know you, what you've been through and what your personality is, but if you're of sound mind and you can keep yourself together, then 100ug isn't that much at all. Through experience, you can do things like you'd have to normally, like walk around your environment easily. If it's like 150ug or above, then prepare to be incapacitated, assuming you have no tolerance. Lsd is immersive and has many levels, combos that make it different in character, but another half tab of 100ug should be too much to behave soberly in front of others. Although, that kind of can be done lol. Not that you were asking at a 150ug dose.

Try tripping in a safe environment, and all should be good.

What type of activity(s) are you planning to engage in? How many people will be around; maybe more importantly, who are those that you will be around. Is it imperative that noone know you are altered?

If you're questioning your ability to function in your given situation, it's better to wait until a better opportunity arises. Due to outside circumstances, I've had a compound that I cannot wait to try (MEM) in my posession for several years but haven't been in a good situation in which to sample it. Its frustrating, but frustration is far less unpleasant than a bad trip caused by outside circumstances.

If you're trying to hide it from your parents, which seems to be your situation, though I could be wrong, dilated pupils are very hard to hide, as is the ear to ear, shit eating grin that a good LSD dose tends to induce. Be smart, theres no rush...

I've had half a dose and it was like half tripping so going for a full tab this time. I'll be alone but let's say the phone rings or someone visits I want to know if tripping on 100ug will present a problem with people wondering wtf is wrong with me.

Just kicking back. Nobody will be around unless family unexpectedly comes over which might present a problem of them being judgemental or disapointed about me being on drugs. Just wondering will lsd make me too confused and spaced out that acting sober will be too hard if the need to be presents itself.

Just don't pickup the phone or answer the door while you're tripping.
If somebody asks what happened the next day tell them you were having sex.

I find that a big part of good setting for a trip is knowing that I'm not gonna be disturbed or have any unexpected interactions etc. Worrying if someone's gonna randomly show up just adds unnecessary tension. Just turn off your phone or trip at night.

To answer your original question I find that acid is kinda intense and confusing for the first 2-4 hours and then it levels out to a calm, introspective state with nice visuals. So yes, if you absolutely had to you could probably manage a brief phone conversation after the peak subsides. I've only ever had to interact with strangers on the tail end of trips and it's still kinda wierd and anxiety inducing. If you're more extroverted it might be easier for you tho but a good solid acid trip will make normal things like small talk feel very strange.

I hate to be "that guy", but I just can't resist man. Taking a dosage like that is going to change things. People will be afraid of how much sense everything is making to you and how much sense you're making and it could lead to amazing conversation and lifelong intellectual bonding at the very worst!

I think it depends on the crowd. Is there a crowd?

You can blend into a party but I wouldn't drop even one hit and plan on acting normal at a one on one dinner party. Or even a smaller dinner party. Especially since you've never done it before.

You're likely not to enjoy it thinking "am I acting ok?" all night long.

Normal people don't have problems controlling themselves for the most part at this dosage though, but why stress yourself out?

I suggest that you try it out first before jumping into an unknown to us social situation.

I like tripping in large crowds myself. Easy to blend in. Watch everybody acting a fool. Nobody is really watching you though. There's too many people to single you out as acting different.

Agreed. I can generally blend in just about any crowd that I might encounter, as well as handle one on one conversations, so long as I'm not really pushing the dose of one or more compound(s); but I'm about to turn 39 and will officially have 25 years of tripping experience on a wide variety of psychedelics and dissociatives after having my first psilocybin experience on my 14th birthday.

Congrats!! I'm at 20 years this year myself. LSD at 16 on a crowd of hundreds of thousands the first time (huge military air show/fireworks display).

I might take a single hit myself and go to an unknown social function, but I think it would be unwise of me to recommend it to someone who hasn't yet taken a whole hit.

@ the OP, what is this social function gonna be like? You might be fine.

We can't really gauge you or how you'll react is the problem.

Simple words of wisdom- always leave breadcrunbs, and navigate mindfully.

Take nothing for granted. But have faith. Don't overstetch.

As general principles. I never actually encourage or advise anybody to take LSD, MDMA or much except suggest regularly from a HR medicinal stance that kava can be of help in many situations.

Otherwise, it is each to one's own so it's like taking on a responsibility to even advise or suggest, as we are still dealing with the unknown.

That's why I just report. I make no reference to or encouragement about nor opinion of how others live and use DOC's or not.

Definitely take acid for the first time before Math class. I had a very empathetic, sympathetic math teacher named Nancy who basically caught me tripping and didn't report me to the higher ups. I remember her digging my face with this puzzled look. She knew something was up, from where I was sitting, her face was melting, sliding off and then re-attaching itself to her face. She just looked in my eyes for like 5 full seconds and said "Good Morning Ryan, everything okay?". She absolutely knew I was fucked up. if I had gotten hemmed up I wouldn't have been able to talke to the principal.

It was a lesson. I am actually having really sad, nostalgic thoughts about that teacher right now  I was always such a shit head and she never failed me, never fed me to the sharks. I seriously miss her. She was one of the reasons I became a teacher and I think about her all the time. Well, I might spend my day tracking down Nancy Kutcher, Math Teacher, Lowell High School.
