Are there any others who still appreciate and listen to good old rock?

I moslty listen to Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd rock-wise.
My fave from the zeps is probably Led Zeppelin II, been listening to that album for like 5 years and it still never ever bores me. Not that I don't love the other albums :D
I also like Rush (omg 2112 instant eargasm), a few songs from Dire straits (not that I don't like their other stuff, just haven't listened to it), R.J Dio..

I have a very diverse music taste. '70s/'80s music is great though. Fleetwood Mac, Blue Oyster Cult, etc. Love em!

Well, The Who are the greatest rock band of all time.
So yeah.

Rush, Boston, Led Zeppelin, Yardbirds, Golden Earring, Del Shannon, The Doors, The Beatles, Stones, a million other things.

Golden age of rock music.

Wasn't aware 90s was considered old.

I'm pretty sure Nirvana has been playing on Classic Rock stations for a couple of years now.. Ridiculous right?

It used to be every angsty teen's journey past plebeian mode

Ha, this one might be more appropriate for this thread...

Underrated post, love me some Ian going to town on the flute hiked up on one leg

Man, you know I love all types of ill shit. As long as it bumps, I gets down with it.

Lol I know neeg, shit goes with out saying and I was needling you since you directed the same exact comment toward I after posting some Death Grips
But there he goes with this album, do you even Can bro?

You and my dad would've got along pretty well
Can't say much for The Who, Rush, or Boston imo

In no particular order (Mostly late 60s to early 80s rock)

Genesis - Nursery cryme . I was blown away how awesome they used to be.
Alcatraz - Jet to Jet. Yngwie shreds like crazy
deep purple
CCR
Any Sabbath with ozzy
Any Hendrix
Early Clapton
UFO
Gary Moore
Uli Jon Roth
Joe Satriani
Rush
Pink Floyd - any lineup

I could go on but I jt love this era. And it flowed right into the metal scene in early to mid 80s, but thats a whole nother topic.

As a guitar player, rock IS my genre of choice..

Classic rock, Blues, a little folk, etc..

Led Zepp, The Stones, The Band, The beatles, SRV, Buddy guy, Cream, Clapton, Can't call it rock without some Hendrix!!

Hendrix always has the best "beats" if you will, to play along to...something about his rythym makes my fingers flow like some sort of orb of light dancing around in the sun, sending sparkling rays of sound down upon the world...lol

^ Guitar playing is bad ass isn't it?

This is probably the best single take in a studio ever recorded in history. If you listen closely at the very end you can hear Jimi say "Hey let's try that one more time"....like seriously, you just melted my mind and you don't think you did a good enough job? Brilliant.
