Come! Pastel, you would love it out here. Just get on the Amtrak Zephyr in Chicago and take that baby all the way across the plains, through the Rockies and then through the Nevada desert and into the Sierras, through Tahoe and right to the coast. It is an amazing ride. Then call me. I'll be your guide in hippietown.

here is a picture of me being domestic goddess at Thanksgiving with my husband in the background, my son, his girlfriend barely in the picture in the foreground and her aunt in the far back. It is hilarious the way we are all looking so seriously at the stove like it is the source of a very moving miracle. I guess the aromas must have affected us. Anyway, even with his newly bald head, isn't my son a handsome guy?

@ sconnie420: here's another one, only this time you get to really see some scenery. Taken while at my favourite spot in the center of the town. I usually go there with a few beers, to clear my head. It's nice and quiet and there are a lot of benches. The country is Italy... I live & work here at the moment.

it was a dressup theme so i understand the lol'ing. you should get a good laff from this one...another highschool period shot. i'm still about the same size and build. smoking early really does stunt growth in my case.

Yes it is. And it's full of empty benches, I was actually sitting on my favourite one when I took the photo.
