I'm bitter right now because I couldn't get my money together to score. He headed out for the night before I got a chance to hit up the bank, so that's that.

i bet you could scrap it and get more money then those pills buddy..i would think you could get at the minimum 500-600bucks and actually prolly way more in scrap metal from an old pickup...you prolly could of broke it down and got a stack for it

Nah, there was $250 worth of scrap metal in that truck tops. Maaaayybe 3. This was no big old Chevy pickup or anything, it was a little 2wd 88 toyota pickup. Doesn't weigh shit.

You're right I know I could have gotten more believe me I have played this game many times before, I've scrapped several of my vehicles and I have worked at 2 different junkyards. I also used to run scrap metal with one of my friends when I was unemployed a few years back to make extra money. Sure if I completely disassembled it and separated all the expensive metals and scrapped the cat separate I could have made a little more. I also could have sold the aftermarket mag wheels and if I really wanted to get into it I could have sold the engine and trans which were mint but that's way more work than I have time for.

Unfortunately junkyards around here will pick cars up for free but they only pay you for it if you bring it there yourself. On top of that, (assuming they give you anything) they'll usually only give you like $100 unless they're also a scrap metal recycler (which believe it or not most aren't, whole cars only). I know of a few that take metal by weight but they're not that close by and they have shit hours. I no longer have access to a car trailer and it wasn't really capable of driving far on its own. I could have cut it up and brought it in multiple loads on my smaller trailer, but the truck was in my friend's yard and I doubt he would want me making a mess there. Also my truck that I'd tow it there with is not registered and the yard I would have gone to is in an area with a lot of cops with nothing better to do than scan plates. And with their early hours I would have lost hours at work trying to get it done so it would have been pretty counter-productive.

The reason I had to do something about it all of a sudden is because my friend who's house it was at got a letter from the town (some ritzy shoreline town, lol this dope fiend so does not belong there) stating that he has too many unregistered cars on his property and gave him 10 days to get them all out of there or there is a $1000 fine for each week they stay past the 10 days so I needed to get on it ASAP. I could have had it towed to my house and bought myself some time but A- it was sitting about 35 miles away from where I live and that's not a cheap tow, and B- I already have 3 of my cars in the driveway here, two of which are not registered and one of them wasn't even running for a year and a half (until about about 2 weeks ago actually) so I doubt my roommate (who is also my landlord as he owns this house) would want another one of my POS cars in his yard. We're good friends and he's been pretty cool about shit but I mean just us 2 people live here and there's 7 cars here as it is.

So basically, long story short it was much much easier to just say "you want a free truck? toss me some oxy and it's yours. come get it today". I got my hands on the truck the same way and I got back about how much it owed me. I broke even and got high in the process. That's good enough for me.

TL;DR: I didn't feel like fucking dealing with it. I don't care as long as I didn't lose any money on it.

yeah i hear you..here in illinois we got the longest continuous running commerical in the history of tv and its a auto scrap year that will pick up the car and pay you for it..no joke i remmeber this comercial since i was little and im sure anyone from chicago knows and remebers this commercial when they were little kids

it sticks out in my mind cause i used to think the guy looked like my dad back in the early 80s and i used to love the fact that when he opened the door it fell off the hinges but in the commercial they pay the guy 60 bucks for his car and i love it cause they have never updated it..same commercial that was running in the 80s still runs today..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFEzYfj6qc4

no joke that shit is classic here in chicagoland, every single person in the chicagoland area has seen that commercial countless times, i would put money on it

EDIT..i typed victory auto wreckers into google and it actually has its own wiki page(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victory_Auto_Wreckers) talking about the commercial it was filmed and been unchanged since 1985..there was plenty of other sites talkin about it too lol

Chinky, you remind me of one of my buddies from high school, I am surprised that I never realized that until now because yall act identical to one another. He was from North Carolina and thought that nothing we did here was as good as it was back home. It seemed like he always had some crazy ass story about what he did over the weekend and most of the time it was true. But as we got older, he got a little bit crazier. One time we were at my friends house smoking and he runs in the garage yelling to look at his drug test results. He had tested positive for PCP and was so damn proud about it. I think the last time I hung out with him was when he pulled out a fully auto AK-47 in his front yard in a very populated neighborhood. He had balls of steel though and was fun to hang out with because if things were boring then he would just do something to make things interesting, but that shit got old eventually.

naw im not that reckless..im more of the laid back type of kid instrad of the in yourface loud type..unless you get alcohol in me

but its funny you say that cause its not the first time ive heard it

i have lived a crazy lifet hough..enoiugh for 2 life times thats for sure

Congrats man. Is that only including heroin or all opiates?

Seriously what the fuck has happened to the OD social? That shit is well, um interesting.

i mean its pretty much 1 year no opiates, i had 1 relapse with oxy like i month after i quit when i recked my car but yall knew about that and then like a month after that i tried a CWE on some hydros and it was a waste and yea since then i havent touched any opies at all so technically its like 10 months opiate free but they were only 2 occasions spaced a bit apart and even tho the oxy relapse i went balls to the wall i dont really count the hydro slip up but yea man pretty much one year clean

had a really nice experience on 4 aco dmt

i highly recommend this drug to any one yall interested in psychs

it would be hard to quit dope, i would hve to change my number and dont plan on doing that cause my dude will call me and just say what up and ask if im doin ok cause he hadnt heard from me in a few days or a week or whatever it is

That's fucked up when they do that. They know full well that it's easy to get those gears turning.

yeah man especially when they go..if your broke right now i can throw you a few bags

i would have to no joke change my number and prolly move cause i know i can find dope anywhere just by driving around for 10mins in the city..hell i know where my people stay so even if i lost their number i can just go by his place and m sure he wouldnt bee to happy i stopped there he would understand

You probably have it even tougher because of the market in Chicago but it never ends for me either. My whole junkie career I have completely depended on one dealer at a time. This usually last years before they inevitably get popped or robbed beyond repair. Every time though, as if the devil himself had a hand in it a new, just as reliable connect will just pop up out of no where. It's been about 6 years since I was without a consistent connect.

Oh man I used to think that was a gift from god....you call phone A. And get the dreaded "we're sorry but the number you called is not receiving calls at this time or the number is out of service." and your heart sinks...then you call phone B....the almost always undependable dealer who is always on black people time an almost like he was anticipating it he becomes your new solid connect...used to be a gift from god now it's more of a curse from lucifer himself.

even worse that that is the "well hey I know you only got enough money for a bundle, but here take these three. Pay me back when you can..."

Hard to say no to that, but then you're stuck paying for it later after you inevitably blow thru those extra ones way faster than you would have if you were buying them one at a time.

shit my dude has been popped with dope and is stll in business, he just took a week off but his sister or someone else had the phone and then got back to working cause hes gotta pay for a lawyer and court fees andall that shit, so its not like the business stopped..cause with my people its like a family buiness so even if someone gets popped..the main older family member will keep it goin cause he doesnt do the running around (well he does sometimes but rarely) that would end up getting him popped..he will just give someone else the phone and business runs as usual

this tends to happen with most dealers...no dealer starts out being the boss and movin weight..they start off small and slowly work their way up..maybe they go from one ounce to 2 ounces and then thers no pont in buyin 3ounces when you can get 4 for almost the same price, so you ge 4 instead and so on..when i started sellin weed, i was buying a half oz and flippin it so smoke for free, you know maybe get an 8th for free out of it but realized i was startin to need a half everyday and was makin money off it cause i still had that 8th so i didnt need the weed and i just sold it and when it was all said an done over the course of a couple years i was doing like 1.5 pounds a week and that wasnt me sellin grams that was settin people up who were buyin quads and halfs and doin what i did orginally..and me being in the position i was i put them on by saying hey your buying a half well here take ths whole and ill give it to you cheaper but on spot and when you can pay cash for one ill give it to you less and when they made enough to buy one i gave them 2 and so on..and before you know it you got a team of 3 or 4 people and your basically running a business, cause without you these people couldnt afford their cars or their apt or any of that, the only thing i couldnt offer them was health insurance

and im comfortable sayin this cause i havent touched work in over 2 years

yeah thats when you say "sorry man but just dont have the extra cash and so you start payin it off slowly 10-20 at a time and normally they will forget the balance or just say fuck it i fucked up and they take it as a loss after a couple weeks and really not care about it cause your still getting your usual bundle and what not

sometimes as a dealer you knew you went a little too far ahead and just gotta chalk it up as a lose and part of the game, and you dont make that mistake again

Even though we're still 60 posts out, it's never too early to start thinking of a title for the new thread. I know how all you junkies are lazy procrastinators so get to it!
